‘Demons’ is the first single release from new-wave reggae outfit The Barefoot Bandit’s debut album.

Head pounding, sore eyes, thoughts of impending doom? ‘Demons’ is an explosion of heavy bass, bountiful brass and an unforgettable chorus. Retaining a dub, roots, and reggae feel but also touching on bossa nova and world rhythms.

The track explores the morning emotions of a human after a whirlwind of a time enjoying oneself far too much. It also touches on how drugs and alcohol can affect mental health and the notion that it’s okay to have a good time but not to over indulge.
